    How can you make a difference?
    Assists in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating donor visits in order to strengthen partnerships with UNICEF’s donors and get children’s and women’s issues into the public domain, in support of UNICEF's mission and objectives in the country, and enhance the organization’s credibility and brand.
    Within the delegated authority and the given organizational set-up, the incumbent may be accountable for all or assigned areas of the following major duties and end results.

    Donor visits and special events coordination
    Duties & Tasks:        
    • Assist in the coordination of all tasks related to donors visits to UNICEF activities in Jordan, including the below;
    • Update the visits calendar every day based on donors requests;
    • Develop a specific itinerary for each donor visit, in close collaboration with programmatic sections, and in line with donors interest;
    • Consolidate and regularly update a professional briefing package tailored on the needs of each donor visit;
    • Coordinate requests of entry permits for refugee camps in relation with Government authorities, and ensure that a continuous dialogue is maintained with field security officers;
    • Conduct pre-visits and take part in actual field visits to ensure smooth implementation and troubleshooting during visits ;
    • Conduct English/Arabic interpretation during visits as needed;
    • Assist in conducting a thorough check of donors visibility on site before each visit and work with the communication section to improve visibility on time before visits whenever required;
    • Coordinate with drivers office the availability of cars on days of visits;
      
    Monitoring and evaluation
    Duties & Tasks:
    • Monitor the perception of visitors on UNICEF’s programmes during visits and provide feedback after every visit on positive and potential negative points and recommend appropriate action to maintain a positive image for the organization.
    • Ensure good quality data collection, analysis and evaluation and reporting on donor visits works to ensure effective strategies and effective and efficient advocacy.
    • Undertake lessons learned review of successful and unsuccessful donor visits and special events experiences as directed by supervisor. Help to organise debriefings on donors visits involving all UNICEF field staffs on a quarterly basis.

    To qualify for the post you will have:
    • University degree in business administration, public relations, journalism or a related science; or related field.
    • One year practical professional work experience in the field of development and/or emergency programmes
    • Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
