Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures efficient administrative support , focusing on achievement of the following results: Draft of short technical notes on development issues; Gathering of information on socioeconomic issues; Elaboration of tables and charts in Excel; Elaboration of presentations in Power Point; Draft of meeting minutes in Word; Technical translations from English to Portuguese and viceversa; Support to technical and logistics arrangements for workshops and meetings hosted by the UNDP in the areas of the competency of the Senior Economic Advisor; Other duties as directed by the Senior Economic Advisor.

Required Skills and Experience

Education: Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) in Economics or International Relations; Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent) in Economics or International Relations; Have graduated with a university degree in Economics or International Relations (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.
