    UNICEF's Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC) in Budapest, Hungary has over 300 staff members from around the world, and seeks to show the life of the Centre and the day-to-day work of its colleagues to UNICEF staff and offices through a series of short, lively videos.

    How can you make a difference?

    The Volunteer will work with the Communications Team to create a series videos that offer an insight to the life of the GSSC for colleagues across UNICEF. The task of the Videographer Volunteer will be to produce captivating and quality multimedia content including staff interviews and footages of everyday work in the Centre.
    The Volunteer will work under the direction of the Communications Specialist, but will also coordinate with other members of the Communications Team regarding the details of the assignment.  The Communications Team will provide scripts and give guidance on the video material to be produced.
    This will involve…
    • Filming 6 short pre-scripted interviews with UNICEF GSSC staff.
    • Capturing and producing a short image video on everyday work in the GSSC, cooperate on developing the script.
    • Developing media package containing both final, publishable content and raw materials for future use in GSSC video material.

    As an advocate for every child, you will be…
    • Fluent in English
    • Skilled in shooting videos and sound recording
    • Familiar with video editing tools (including Adobe Premier Pro)
    • Experienced in video post-production and work with video files in multiple formats
    • Able to provide a creative approach to visually represent everyday activities

    Duration
    Four to six (4-6) consecutive weeks between 3 July and 31 August 2017 at UNICEF GSSC, Budapest.

    Payment
    The volunteer position is unpaid. The successful applicant will be responsible for making own arrangements for travel, lodging and living expenses during the volunteer period.
