Under the guidance and direct supervision of the National Project Officer (MALARIA), the Project Associate (MALARIA) provides supporting functions to the National Project Officer (MALARIA) and the specific project team to ensure that grant deliverables are met through the following key functions:
Ensures the provision of effective and efficient grant management activities, with the following responsibilities:
Provides effective administrative support to management of the MALARIA programme focusing on the achievement of the following results:
Ensures facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the CO focusing on achievement of the following results:
Ensures guidance and capacity building and facilitation of knowledge building and sharing in the PMU focusing on achievement of following results:

Sourcing

Social Determinants of Health
Understanding and practical experience of social determinants of health and the ability to apply them to strategic and/or practical situations
Universal Health Coverage Monitoring
Ability to assess and monitor universal health coverage
Logistics
Knowledge of logistics operations, principles and methods, and ability to apply to strategic and/or practical situations
Service Delivery Coordination
Ability to coordinate and deliver services in line with service level agreements and standards of excellence in UNDP
Knowledge Curation
Ability to turn raw information into useful knowledge, relevant for context, or responsive to stated need
