Main Functions
The ERP Application Management Officer will act as the technical specialist supporting the analysis, design, coding and testing of ERP systems improvements, upgrades and migrations. Specifically, the incumbent will perform the following duties:
- Perform and coordinate analysis, design, coding and testing of ERP systems improvements;
- Act as a technical liaison between ITS and key users during requirements specification, design, development and user acceptance testing;
- Coordinate and monitor the development effort with internal developers and external service provider developers;
- Act as the main technical quality assurance for any ERP related developments;
- Act as a technical resource to support level 2 and level 3 ERP system issues and other related ongoing support;
- Act as a technical resource during ERP upgrades, patches and migration;
- Assist senior staff in drafting ERP related documentation and communication.

Minimum Requirements
Education
Advanced university degree in one or more of the following areas: information technology, computer science, computer engineering, information management, or similar curriculum.
Languages
Fluency in English.
Field of Expertise
- Five or more years of relevant working experience with ERP based on SAP in a complex ICT solution environment required, preferably within the UN system or in a multicultural environment;
- Five or more years ERP-related services (hands-on) in application development & maintenance of SAP Enhancements, Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Workflow required;
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, SAP Web Dynpro for ABAP, SAP Business Workflow, SAP Smart Forms, SAPscript, and interactive forms by Adobe required;
- Extensive development experience in the following SAP modules: HCM (PA, OM, PT, SPM, E-Recruiting and NPO-Payroll), PPM, PS, SRM, FI/CO, FM, GM, TV required;
- Strong analytical thinking, planning, organizing and problem solving abilities required;
- Several yearsâ experience in coordinating onsite and offshore development required;
- Hands-on experience in SAP major upgrade activities is an asset;
- Hands-on experience in SAP integration to OpenText is an asset;
- Hands-on experience in SAP integration to heterogeneous systems via standard formats such as XML;
- Related SAP certification is an asset.
