Duties
The incumbent provides security for USG facilities, employees, and family members by performing a full range of surveillance detection (SD) services to detect, recognize, and report on potential hostile surveillance directed against U.S. Government facilities and/or personnel. Records and reports suspicious activity to additional Regional Security Office (RSO) assets. In case of an imminent attack, calls for immediate assistance from other units and the local police and takes action to prevent injury or death to personnel, and destruction of property. Works on an eight-hour or twelve-hour shift basis as assigned by the Surveillance Detection Program Coordinator.
