Work tasks

NIB is seeking a

TRAINEE

to join the Lending Department/Transaction and
Portfolio Management Unit

The main responsibilities are to assist in the beginning of the credit process with entering of financial statements for potential clients into the rating tool and assigning them an indicative risk class, as well as annually updating the financial statements of existing clients into the bank’s systems. You may also participate in other tasks in the TPM Unit. The position is optimally held for at least a year during which you also perform specific analysis task(s) and have an opportunity to participate in an actual new loan process. Work in the Lending Department offers an excellent opportunity to gain a thorough understanding on how an international financial institution operates. 

Qualifications

• The successful candidate should have completed at least 2 years studies in Accounting/Finance

• Fluency in English is a prerequisite, a working knowledge of one of the Scandinavian languages would be an asset

• Qualities such as open-mindedness, flexibility, good interpersonal and organisational skills and a genuine interest in learning new things are appreciated

• Aptitude for figures and attention to detail
