The Administrative and Financial Coordinator is in charge assuring financial transparency and the optimized management of the financial resources of the missions, fulfilling at all time with Action against Hunger internal procedures. Controlling and mitigating the financial risks of the Organization, supporting and developing the staff of the Finance department in the mission or order to achieve an optimal management of the project cycle from a financial point of view, with a strict respect to the donor guidelines. And ensuring fully trained and motivated teams.

Key activities in your role will include
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
In a context of both emergency and stabilization towards development you will be responsible for:
·         The Mission Financial Management (including financial equilibrium of the mission, financial planning follow up, control of the coverage plan..)
·         Mission Treasury and Accountancy Supervision
·         Administrative management of the mission
·         Relationship with counterparts 
·         Line-management of the Admin team in Beirut (2 employees), and technical management of and support to admin manager in the Bases
·         Contribute to the definition of mission strategy

Specific information about the position:
·         Basic assistance post emergency project for Syrian refuges (around 35 000 refugees)
·         Donors management with WFP, Unicef, ECHO, Ambassade de France, OCHA... (8 contracts)
·         Independency in the payment management request to donors
·         Lebanon mission encourage new approaches and innovative solutions and the implementation of pilots project.

·         The position is based in Beirut with visits to the field 1h30 away
·         Beirut is a nice town to live in, very close to the sea and the mountains and offers you lot of diversity in terms of living conditions and activities (sports, trekking, outdoor eating, sea bathing...)

Do you meet the profile required criteria ?
CANDIDATE PROFILE
·         Bachelor’s degree or higher in, Business, economics or related field. Humanitarian Studies or similar an asset.
·         Minimum 2-years’ experience in field administrative coordination that includes budgets, financial reports and financial project follow up.  
·         Advanced knowledge of donor guidelines is compulsory and knowledge of Action against Hunger´s process is an asset.
·         Proven ability in translating analysis and evaluation into operational planning and strategic decision-making.
·         Excellent team management skills, good listener, high communication skills
·         Proved team-work experience and of coordination of staff under its supervision. English (compulsory working language, spoken, read and written); Arabic (useful).
·         MS Office very strong command. Advanced level of Excel. Experience with accounting programs like SAGA, Agresso or others.

Our remuneration package:
REMUNERATIVE PACKAGE
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:

  • Formal work contract: 12 months starting beginning of January 2018
  • Salary: from 1.700 € to 2.200 € gross per month according to candidate’s previous experience (according to standard list of Action against Hunger - Spain). Action Against Hunger - Spain remuneration system allows a salary progression based on the annual development appraisal.

  • Up to 20% additional remuneration depending on the position’s context and responsibilities (according the grading scale set by Action Against Hunger)
  • House and maintenance covered by the organization (including per diem): package estimated according to the destination.
  • Travel costs to and from the mission.
  • 25 working days of paid leave per year.
  • Break: additional rest period, including travel cost to a reference area and economic help of 215€.
  • Health, repatriation, travel and life insurance covered by the organization.
  • Extra per month and per child (Under 18 years old): from 100€ to 225€ monthly (according to standard list of Action against Hunger - Spain).
