Are you a talented communicator who can tell a compelling story about Elrha and our work? Are you good at thinking creatively about the best ways to get our messages out through traditional and online media? Are you someone who can plan, deliver and evaluate a range of communication projects?
We are looking for a highly experienced Communications Officer who is ready to apply their expertise and develop their skills further within a fast-paced and creative team.
Elrha is a leading actor in the humanitarian system dedicated to improving outcomes by enabling and supporting research, innovation and partnership that address today’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. We fund and support research and innovation projects around the world and work closely with humanitarian organisations, the international research community, the private sector and other actors engaged in research and innovation.
This post requires an individual looking for a challenging role, who is ready to take on this exciting and varied opportunity supporting a busy and ambitious team. You will be particularly skilled at maintaining an effective online presence for an organisation including; maintaining and updating websites using content management systems, creating images and supporting production of other multimedia content, producing mailings and using a range of social media tools, with proven ability to tailor communications to target different audiences.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience working in a communications role with considerable experience in planning, delivering and evaluating communications projects, ideally within the third/charity sector. Knowledge of the humanitarian community would be desirable but most of all we’re looking for someone passionate about this role.
