Opportunity
Abt Associates seeks a qualified Project Assistant (PA) / Technical Program Assistant to support the International Health Division in Zambia.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Support the technical program team with specific activities related to family planning programming as needs are identified by the team, including:
- Taking and sharing notes from technical meetings,
- Assisting the M&E lead with implementing research activities
- Helping to manage data collectors, and data collection and drafting reports
- Participate in relevant family planning technical working group meetings to assist with note taking and dissemination and track action items
- Produce activity reports and support tracking of program deliverables / work plan implementation
- Support the M&E lead to outline and produce the first draft of project documents such as the quarterly reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Public Health, Statistics, Demography, Economics, Development studies)
- At least 2+ years of related experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working with reproductive health or family planning projects will be an added advantage
