Duties and Responsibilities
Outreach:
Outreach:
- Providing assistance in organisation of Outreach activities and follow up of the Outreach projects.
- Following the Court proceedings and writing reports from the hearings.
- Assisting in coordination and development of common Outreach projects.
- Assisting in measuring impact through monitoring and evaluation – maintenance and analyses of data base, surveys and structural interviews, process analyses.
- Assisting in enhancing visibility of Outreach through social media, web site and other electronic means with Public Affairs Unit.
- Monitoring social media trends and proposing new Outreach tools.
- Support new website/social media projects, assisting in designing infographics and visuals.
- Assist with photography projects including inserting metadata, compiling selected photos from Outreach activities.
- Assist with archiving videos, photos and other visuals.
- Arranging and taking notes at specific meetings.
Required Qualifications
Education:
All candidates must have a degree from or be in the final stages of their studies at a recognized university. Candidates are expected to have a very good record of academic performance.
Experience:
Internship placements focus on candidates in the early stages of their professional careers therefore; practical experience is not an essential prerequisite for selection. However, practical experience that is relevant to the work of the Court may be considered an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Adaptability to a multicultural and multilingual working environment encompassing the principal legal traditions of the world.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- A good standard of computer literacy (especially Microsoft Office applications).
- Other important qualities are discretion, reliability, intellectual rigor, precision, perseverance, honesty, creativity, co-operative spirit and integrity.
