Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Head of the IAS or a designated analyst, and in compliance with the relevant protocols and methods, the incumbent will perform the following duties:
- Databases – Data entry and data cleaning (including structured and unstructured data) for relevant databases, such as the Fact Analysis Database (FAD, comprehensive all-source and entity-driven database built on IBM iBase) that collates and integrates evidence for every case by incidents, alleged perpetrators, victims, locations, groups and other issues relevant to the investigation.
- Crime pattern – Support for crime pattern monitoring and analysis for situations and cases under investigation, with the required collection of information from open or other sources, data entry and data cleaning, and storage of the relevant sources, using the required software tools (including IBM iBase, Tableau, ArcGIS and Excel).
- Telecommunications – Data entry and data processing to support the analysis of telecommunications and similar structured data (financial or other) through relevant software and databases (including IBM iBase and Analyst Notebook, Mercure 3, ArcGIS and Excel).
- Searches – Conducts searches in databases, open sources and Social Media as required to support analysis.
- Other – Any other support task required to assist analysis, including the production of summaries and collations, corroboration checks, and sourcing of reports or other analytical products.
Essential Qualifications
Education:
Diploma of secondary education.
Experience:
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience in an operational support environment, preferably with data input and/or administrative experience and/or analytical experience. An advanced or a first-level university degree may be considered as a substitute for two years' working experience only to determine eligibility.

- Software – Ability to work efficiently with databases, internet and analytical software;
- Accuracy – Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when processing information;
- Resilience – Ability to work under strict deadlines, under stress conditions, and dealing with potentially distressing information;
- Flexibility – Ability to adapt to changing plans and requirements;
- Confidentiality – Ability to keep strict confidentiality about the relevant information and procedures;

Knowledge of languages:
Proficiency in one of the working languages, English or French, is required. Working knowledge of the other is highly desirable. Knowledge of another official language of the Court (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish) or languages related to the investigations, would be considered as an additional asset.
